The Global Financial Crisis: Europe and Greece in Particular

Greece faces a lengthy period of recession as it tries to slash its deficit. There are also fears that the Greek problem could spread to other eurozone countries and that all of this could trigger a domino effect in international financial markets.

What all this means to Greece, Europe and, through its global implications, to Australia will be
discussed by His Excellency, Mr Alexios Christopoulos, the Greek Ambassador to Australia.

Ambassador Christopoulos will deliver his address at The Curtin University Graduate School of Business, Room 212, 78 Murray Street, Perth, Wednesday 1st September 2010.

Registration begins at 10:00am, followed by tea and coffee. The address will commence at 10.30am and will be followed by a discussion period concluding no later than 12:00 noon.

We look forward to you joining us; please RSVP by 30 August [email protected] or telephone +61 (0) 8 9486 1046.
