Andrew Manners

Mr Manners currently resides in the United Kingdom, where he works in a number of research roles. He previously worked at FDI as a Research Analyst while completing his Laws and International Relations degrees at the University of Western Australia. During that time, Mr Manners focussed on the Indian Ocean region before specialising in Indonesian issues. As an Indonesia analyst, his commentary was featured on ABC Radio National, ABC News and Sky News, while his security articles have been cited in academic journals. More recently, he has completed a Master’s degree in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding from Durham University in the UK. His recent research projects include a conflict studies trip to Lebanon, where he interviewed high-ranking members of Hezbollah, and a policy initiative for Durham Law School focussing on the intersection between law, negotiation and politics.
