Future Directions International (FDI) is a not for profit, "think-tank" and relies heavily on donations and other financial support from donors, philanthropists, corporations and institutions.

FDI is an approved research institute. It has approved charity and deductible gift status. FDI is thus able to receive into its research fund gifts and donations that in normal cirumstances will be tax deductible for the donors.

Donors and philanthropists are able to make one-off gifts or pledges over a number of years.

FDI receives pro-bono assistance from a number of corporate and business supporters. Their support enables a number of services such as marketing, website development, accounting and information technology to be provided to FDI at the highest level at little or no cost. Their support is recognised on the Corporate Supporters section of the website.
