‘The Challenges of Developing the Pilbara and its Future Security Needs’

11 November 2010: The Challenges of Developing the Pilbara and its Future Security NeedsFDI’s Northern Australia Research Programme will proudly host on 11 November 2010 the first of a series of invitation-only research workshops.

Two areas for discussion at this workshop will be 'The Challenges of Developing the Pilbara' and 'The Pilbara's Future Security Needs'.

This video conference workshop will be conducted between venues in Perth, Port Hedland and Karratha.

The first workshop will bring together representatives from industry, academia, State, Federal and Local government. The purpose for this workshop is to inform the Australian government and people of the strategic needs and requirements for Western Australia's Pilbara region by 2020.
