FDI Northern Australia Karratha Consultations

Friday June 17 2011, FDI’s Northern Australia Research Programme will visit Karratha to meet with local, state and federal government representatives for consultation on FDI’s next landmark study, “Security and Safety of the Pilbara Region”.

Relevant stakeholders will discuss the current findings of FDI’s Pilbara Prospects 2020 Strategic Analysis Papers, which examine the development and security challenges facing the Pilbara over the coming decade.

The next topic for consideration will assess the current and projected risk management strategy and capacity for the region to address current and emerging vulnerabilities. It is scheduled to be published in September 2011.
