The organisation has strong links to the policy and research community and prides itself on being able to draw upon experts in the field to contribute to its research and publications.
FDI is an independent, not-for-profit “think-tank” research institute established to conduct comprehensive, integrated research and analysis of important medium to long-term issues facing Australia, its neighbouring regions and the world.
A successful internship with FDI will provide an excellent stepping-stone for opportunities in all jobs which require an understanding of strategy. Former interns are employed by State and Commonwealth Governments, as well as the private sector.
Interns will be expected to engage in a variety of tasks, including researching and production of reports and papers, analysing events and trends in our four focus areas and assisting in the production of a number of publications.
Prospective interns whose studies and experience relate to FDI’s focus areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should submit their CV, covering letter and a sample of their work to: lluke@futuredirections.org.au
