FDI Internship Programme

 

Future Directions International invites high-achieving students from a diverse range of backgrounds, including international relations, political science, history and related disciplines, to participate in its Internship Programme.

Entry to the FDI Internship Programme is highly competitive. Successful applicants will possess:

  • Excellent Research and Analytical Skills
  • High Academic Achievement
  • Superior Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • An Ability to Work Independently
  • Time Management Skills
  • A Keen Interest in Current Affairs and International Issues

A successful internship with FDI will provide an excellent stepping-stone for opportunities in all jobs which require an understanding of strategy. Former interns are employed by State and Commonwealth Governments, as well as the private sector. Interns will be expected to engage in a variety of tasks, including researching and production of articles and papers, analysing events and trends in our focus areas and assisting in the production of a number of publications.

Prospective interns whose studies and experience relate to FDI’s focus areas are encouraged to apply. Applicants must submit their CV, covering letter (stating their preferred research programme) and a sample of their written work to the relevant manager:
